Vitalik Buterin's Ethereum Roadmap Prioritizes Quantum Readiness and Privacy
Quantum safety moved up the queue, VDFs and most EVM improvement work moved down, and Verkle trees and state expiry were dropped for other constructions. Privacy, post-quantum scaling and native rollups were not on the 2023 diagram at all.
